Catching a lot of Doubles on the North End

Hello this is Capt Mark Rose with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Today I got to fish with John and his son, we did a lot of different things We threw a lot senkos a lot of spinner baits, a lot of swim jigs and we caught a few on top water as well.

We started off the morning throwing shiners and we went through 4 dozen shiners in about 3 hours, with our biggest fish at about 5 and a half pounds.

They both had a lot of doubles then after we ran out of shiners we started throwing artificials and we just started plucking away at them.

If your looking to get out of the cold it warmed up down here come out and lets go fishing.

That’s it for now for all Your Florida freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline, this has been your Okeechobee fishing report with Capt Mark Rose.
