Fresh water Bass fishing Lake Okeechobee report with Capt Brian

How’s everybody doing this is the Fresh water Bass fishing Lake Okeechobee report with Capt Brian its actually the second half of two day split trip today, and we got out at about 12 o’clock after I drop my first group off and we got some cloudy skies with a little bit of rain that kind of started pushing through, the cloudy skies I think really helped us out it keeps those fish out in the open better than if you got real bright Sunny day that pushes those fish up into the tight mats and underneath the real heavy cover that works great if you are artificial fishing, but we went back out with five dozen shiners for our 6 hour trip and so we played a little conservative and got five dozen to start with and we ran the outside edge kind of the area we left off from this morning, and the fish picked up right where they had left off and actually the bite was a lot better, it was absolutely amazing two and a half 3 hours to start the trip it seems like every fish they caught was a fish between 3 and 5 pounds. they hadn’t seen anything like it was just absolutely amazing. Amazing start of the trip and we actually burned through the shiners pretty quick being a 6 hour trip. We’re about three and a half hours 4 hours into it we had to get more in fact one of the last shiners we had before we had to run and get some more Steve ended up catching a 7 pounder we turned around and went back in and and got another 2 dozen shiners and came back out and we just had great numbers today, it wasn’t quite the same as it was earlier, but man We had a great trip, a great evening trip we had those first three hours were amazing and the next 3 hours were just as fun watching you know the fish come like they did. They just haven’t seen anything like it, the size wasn’t the same but the numbers were there, and it was just an awesome day all the way around like that. We got a little bit more rain this afternoon then we had in the morning, but I think that’s what kind of help the bite stay going I’ve got great Day to end Christmas weekend with and I’m looking forward to getting back out after him again tomorrow,Tight lines until next time, Give me a call and Let’s go do some fishing For all your freshwater fishing adventures go to bassonline.com This has been your Fresh water Bass fishing Lake Okeechobee report with Capt Brian looking to stretch some line with you.

Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian

Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian

Hey everybody this is the Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian, i have two reports for today. This is the a.m. Trip that I had with tim and his son Taylor, tim’s a repeat customer of mine, and we’ve been going out here on Lake Okeechobee for the last few years we went back out of the south end today outta slims fish camp down there and we had a 4 hour trip so we got four dozen shiners and and headed out to the main lake area where we’ve been fishing. We got set up in a nice little spot kind of some reed cattail mix and it took 45 minutes or so for the fish to really get going we had one here one there, but once the fish kind of figured out that they were shiners there to be eaten and kind of got a few of them excited catching a few they they started to turn on and for the next 3 hours after that it was it was pretty crazy we actually ran out of shiners three hours into the trip and we ended up doing a little bit of artificial Fishing there at the end but our shiner bite was just crazy there for two and a half 3 hours in there in the morning. We had perfect weather and decent breeze keeping the bugs out keeping us cool and the highs were in the 80 so it was it was an awesome day out there and partly cloudy skies so the fish kind of stayed out on the outside of the grass rather than getting tucked up inside it we had some big numbers not a lot of big fish Tim did catch one 7 pounder which pretty much capped off the day. that was that was the highlight of the day he had another 7 pound or two last time we fish together, so we kind of got a little something going there Hopefully in the next time we go out we can get another one. He’s actually looking to come back and do some crappie fishing here probably in February so we probably caught 30 fish today along with a 7 pounder, and I guess with the weather and being the day after Christmas weekend, and that kind of like having Christmas presents today, So it was a great day on the water and look forward to many more with him, Give me a call and Let’s go do some fishing For all your freshwater fishing adventures go to bassonline.com tight lines until next time. Florida Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian

Florida Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian

Hey everybody this is the Florida Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian
How’s everybody doing this is the Florida Bass Fishing report Lake Okeechobee with Capt Brian, today I had a 8 hour trip with husband wife team of Eric and Shannon, they came down from Saint Louis and Shannon bought it for Eric since hes fished the lake of the Ozarks and Truman and all those up there in Missouri, and she wanted to bring them down and just let him have a chance kind of one of those bucket list kinda things he wanted to know what lake Okeechobee was all about and I think we did a pretty good job of turning them on to what this Lake can do and we had an awesome morning we went out of slims fish camp got ourselves four dozen shiners in the morning cause we thought well maybe We’ll do a half a day of shiner fishing and half a day of artificial fishing, and we got out there and pretty much right away there in the morning first 4 hours of the day were pretty fun. Eric caught a couple fish in the 4 pound range a 6 pounder and a 7 pounder, and they just they got a bunch of fish this morning, and we ran in to do a little bathroom break, and I needed to get some more shiners, and we got loaded back up with four dozen more shiners and headed back out and it was like some one flipped the switch in that in that one hour I don’t know what all happen, but then the bite definitely slowed down We did catch some more fish in the afternoon. It just definitely wasn’t the same size or the numbers that we had caught in the morning, but just another absolutely wonderful day lot better weather than they’ve been having up in Missouri, So they had a great time while they’re down they get to go do some peacock fishing here the next couple days over in the canals over by Fort Lauderdale so they already had a blast and looking to have an even bigger blast fishing for Peacock bass. Lake Okeechobee is just a live and well so all you guys. if you are ready to do some fishing We’re ready to have you come down and and catch some of the big fish Lake Okeechobee has to offer and hopefully have a trip of a lifetime so until next time tight lines, This is Capt Brian looking to stretch some line with you.

South Florida Lake Okeechobee fishing report

South Florida Lake Okeechobee fishing report

This is The South Florida Lake Okeechobee fishing report with Capt Brian. We went out of the south end of the lake again today. I had Reeder and his sons on a 6-hour trip. They just wanted to go out and chill out and have a good time and so we grabbed a 6 dozen shiners from slims there and ran out to the main lake where we have been catching quite a few fish got out there, and there are some other boats around us so we got set up on one of the reed heads that we’ve been catching some fish near and it wasn’t too bad of a day, great weather the wind is blowing again out of the South East which seems like it’s been blowing for the last month and a half 2 months almost. Our day it started out fairly dark with some clouds over us and then the sun popped out and temperature really warmed up and it made for a real nice day the boys did pretty Good They ended up catching a bunch of fish it was was a little slower than we expected it to be compared to last couple days, but I just had to move around kind of you know we moved about four or five different reed heads just kind of bounced around catch 3 or 4 fish at one and move to another one, and we had a few slow periods in there but they ended up with a nice five and half pound fish and I think everyone ended up catching a 4 pound fish apiece and some pretty good numbers and a couple small fish, but a lot of the fish were in between that two and a half to 3 pound range so they really enjoy the day and and got to get out on to the lake and kind of see what Okeechobee was about and see what shiner fishing is about and Reeder got the spend some time with the boys, and that was his main goal just get some time and spend some quality family time together, and weather was decent so I think everything worked out pretty good for the guys so hopefully they’ll be back. And and and we can get him on some bigger fish and get that fish of a lifetime for him Okeechobee is doing well, and we are looking forward to seeing everybody come down, im looking forward to catching some big fish on the next new Moon coming here in a week or so, so get your booking down for a trip of a lifetime. give us a call down here at bassonline.com and we’ll get you out there on the lake and hopefully catch a fish of a lifetime and have a trip of a lifetime down here, this has been your South Florida Lake Okeechobee fishing report tight lines until next time this is Capt Brian Brown looking to stretch some line with you.
