First Okeechobee Fishing Trip

Lake Okeechobee has been a very productive bass fishing destination this season. Conditions have improved and weather stabilized. People across the whole United States are traveling here to experience what it has to offer. Come enjoy a First Okeechobee Fishing Trip for largemouth bass.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and Donna. They also brought along their sister Mary Ellen traveling from New Jersey. It has been quite beautiful here in Florida and Mary Ellen wanted to experience Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing for the first time.

It is always nice to be part of something like this. We fished out of Clewiston, Florida. The east wall was a very productive area on this fishing trip. Big bass were in the area and came out to play!

Dave, Donna and Mary caught 30 largemouth bass on their quick trip. Dave caught the biggest fish weighing 6.25 pounds. Numbers have been increasing along with some great size to our catches.

We had a great time out on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Don’t miss out on your adventure next time you are traveling to the state of Florida. Lake Okeechobee is an awesome place!

Repeat Big Bass Fishing while Florida Fishing Lake Okeechobee

Repeat Big Bass Fishing

If you are looking for a fishing trip of a lifetime catching largemouth bass, Lake Okeechobee is the place to go. Repeat Big Bass Fishing is one of the most exciting ways to get out in the outdoors here in Florida.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Kim and Donnie. They are repeat clients of mine that love to bass fish when on vacation here in Florida. We fished out of Okeechobee City on the North end of the Lake.

Fishing can be highly unpredictable here in Florida but always ends strong. We had a slow start to our day and the bite kicked on at around 10 am. Wild caught live shiners were the most effective technique.

Kim and Donnie caught 25 largemouth bass with the biggest coming on the last cast weighing 6.8 pounds. Kim always catches a bigger fish than Donnie when they come out. He is never happy about it.

The Pass on the north end was the most productive spot. Bass Fishing has been great and there is even better to come.

I look forward to fishing with Kim and Donnie again. Don’t miss out on your adventure here on Lake Okeechobee.
