On Romana’s first cast, she caught a peacock bass that really gave her a good fight. It is always exciting to come to Florida and catch a bass on your first cast. She put a lot of quality peacock bass in the boat weighing between 3 to 4 pounds.
Domestic shiners were the most effective method to catching these peacock bass. They have been focused in around structure like rocks and docks. We experienced a lot of action that allowed for a great time on the water.
