Kissimmee River Bass Fishing is a unique way to experience Lake Okeechobee out near Okeechobee City, Florida. Largemouth bass enjoy that river system as it is a place where fresh water continues to flow.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff and Steve. They are down in Florida on vacation and wanted to explore what Lake Okeechobee had to offer.

It was a great day and a great start to a 6 hour trip on the water. We had some action right away that kept them excited.

The area we were fishing was called The Pass. It is one of the key areas on the North End of Lake Okeechobee. Even though there are many more great spots you can fish.

We did not get to see any monsters on this trip but Jeff and Steve caught over 25 largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed 3.5 pounds.

Live bait was the most effective technique on this trip. Jeff and Steve really enjoyed their time on Lake Okeechobee and will be back for more of this action when the big bass arrive.

We are looking forward to fishing with them again. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to catch your Lake Okeechobee bass this season!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Kyle, Scott and Dustin who were traveling to Pennsylvania for Bass Fishing Lake Erie. They came to Florida to fish for largemouth and had to catch some smallmouth bass with me as well.

We had a lot of fun on the two days of fishing. Over 80 smallmouth bass were caught with scattered largemouth bass being caught as well. Bass ranged from 2 to 4 pounds with no giants in the boat.

Summer brings about a time of year where senkos, tubes and Galidas Grubz have worked the best. Some fish are still shallow and we focused mainly on those. They love when you drag these baits along the rock beds they form.

We had a blast on Lake Erie and I am looking forward to fishing with them again. Lake Erie is a beautiful place to explore and visit when you want to experience something different.
